(11:33 am) For your rooting interests, Buttski has picked tennessee, syracuse, marquette & kansas. The only upset here is UT, but then again, these games aren't really good upset candidates.
(12:04 pm) I'm happy to have found an alternative channel on Time Warner. The Marquette game is on CBS in HD and is, frankly, kinda boring. Marquette's D is suffocating the Utah State offense, so I'm watching the Tennessee/Oklahoma State game on some network called "ThisTV" on channel 201. There's also a "March Madness Central" thing on channel 118, but its just a lame call-in and highlights show. Not worth your time. I really miss DirecTV right now. Have I said that before? Next year, I might get DTV for the tournament and cancel it as soon as its over.
(12:48 pm) WHAT NOW??? So, shortly out of halftime, Utah State has brought it back to one against Marquette and NDSU back to 5 vs KU. What happened???
(1:17 pm) Syracuse won. Shocker. Utah State just took the lead. OK St up 3, KU only up 5. Looks like we have a good start to today's games! 13 people have picked NDSU. 42 picked Utah State to upset Marquette. 79 Picked Tennessee.
(1:40 pm) What a great opening round of games today. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
